Defying Gravity – Comic
Brief
Here’s how I directed the creation of this project: I chose the artist, merged the story between panels, conducted sprints to track progress, and defined the tone, style, color palette, layout, and more.
What is our comic about? It tells the story of how Nave Cine Metro was born and the impact it’s having on the Historic Center community through art and culture. “Nave Cine Metro: Against Gravity” was created by a multidisciplinary and creative team, which we introduce in this post.
Conceptualization
In 2019, ACA embarked on the adventure and challenge of rehabilitating a forgotten space. Now, it’s firing on all cylinders, hosting monthly cultural activities, and bringing together artists from various disciplines who share their knowledge with the public and residents of San Salvador’s Historic Center.
Character Design
The social media art design includes an agenda, artist descriptions and their workshops, main artwork, and infographic content displaying data, all under a cohesive graphic line that visually unifies the campaign.
